Writing Letter
This week in Language we are learning about using commas in a friendly letter. We will write a letter later in the week. If your child wants to actually send that letter please have them bring the address of the person they want to write to and a stamp. Thank you for your help.

Classroom Needs/Wants
Hey guys, I know you're probably thinking, "They always want something at that school." Well yes, I want/need more. Sorry-----but I am always looking for ways to teach and motivate the students.
After going to the Ron Clark Academy, I am trying to find ideas to somewhat implement some of the things they do there. They really work hard to keep all students engaged, excited about school, and 'on their toes.' If anyone has one of the small, indoor trampolines I would like to use one of those as a fun entrance on Friday, an incentive, and reward. Also, a small drum would be cool. Even a homemade one. One of those balls with the different colored light would be neat, also.
I also need fun, appropriate songs such as the one that's something like "Let's get it started....."
And----- any ideas YOU may have to help keep the students engaged because they don't know what will happen next. I know it cannot all be a party, but if we can keep them guessing and expecting they will focus and therefore learn because they are having FUN!!Thanks for any help you can give.
